Making Appointments:

We value your time, so Hearing & Speech Associates work by appointments only. We will attempt to give you the earliest available appointment. In the majority of cases, the patient will be scheduled within two weeks.
Please note: most insurance carriers require a referral from a medical doctor for a hearing test. This referral should be obtained prior to scheduling with Hearing & Speech Associates.
When You Must Cancel:

We understand that schedules are subject to change. In the event that you need to cancel or change an appointment, please do so as far in advance as possible, preferably prior to the day you are scheduled.
Insurance and Payment:

For your convenience, Hearing & Speech Associates will work directly with you in filing Medicaid, Medicare and private insurance as needed. Please remember to bring a current copy of your insurance card(s) the day of your appointment so that correct information can be obtained.
Please note: You are responsible for any balance remaining on your bill after your insurance has paid its portion of the claim.
Medicare:

As noted above, Hearing & Speech Associates will file claims with Medicare. However, Medicare may or may not cover diagnostic testing, depending on the nature of the visit. Medicare will not cover any services pertaining to a hearing aid. These services will be charged as an out of pocket expense to the patient.
Other Plans & Discounts:

Please bring all other special insurance plans or senior discount plan cards with you on your initial visit. To be fully eligible for these special discounts, you must present this information to the receptionist or office staff.
